I BELIEVE IN MAKING THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE
By capturing the natural beauty that I see, feel and experience through still and moving images, and sharing this beauty with the world – I hope that I inspire you to love and appreciate yourself and your world around you a little more.
Creating and capturing your memories of a particular or significant time in your life or your family’s and producing gorgeous fine artworks for you to enjoy, treasure and hand-down to future generations is what Shelley McPhee Photography is all about.
It is really important to me that we collaborate to create a truly fun and memorable photoshoot and that you love your fine art pieces – be they wall art, portfolio boxes or an album.
I BELIEVE IN DREAMS BECOMING A REALITY
When you feel great about yourself you can achieve anything.
Deep down everyone wants to have at lease one AMAZING image of themselves. If you are like most people, you ‘hate’ having your photo taken. You feel you’re not photogenic enough, or you’re carrying a little extra weight than you’d like. Photos never seem to look how you see yourself. I too am one of those people who disliked having their photo taken – that was until I had my photo taken by a professional photographer. Once I relaxed into my first photoshoot, I totally enjoyed the experience – it was overall really fun! Couple that with my delight with the final images – they showed me exactly how I saw myself. I want that same experience for everyone that I photograph.
The great outdoors is my favourite place to be, and photograph in. Most of my environmental photography is taken in the outdoors – as is my lifestyle photography and portraiture. I find that people are more relaxed and find it easier to enjoy themselves in open natural, outdoor spaces.

It is located on the outskirts of the village, on the edge of the harbour and has quite an imposing presence within the rural setting. It is not a particularly beautiful building, nor quite as impressive as Mount Kerki…read more
Ever since I was a small child I have wanted to see a flamingo in the wild – they’re pink and have the most elegantly long legs and neck, what’s not to love? The closest I had ever come to seeing them was as statues in elderly people’s gardens in the 1980’s, that was until the autumn of 2011…read more
